This is a newly arrived lepidolite from China and it is AAA quality. The “wand” (that looks a bit like a pocket knife) weighs an impressive 6.9 oz and is 4.2” by 1.55” by 1” with an intense pink-purple color. From the side view, you can see that the wand is made up of countless ultra-thin sheets. Overall, The top sheets look mottled with silvery areas blending with the purple. Strongly backlight (as you can see from the last picture) and you can see the richness of her color. Lepidolite is lithium-rich and it’s the lithium responsible for the intense color!
