From the Anahi Mine in Bolivia, comes this absolutely stunning ametrine with beautifully polished faces, 1 lb 15.5 oz point, 4.4” by 3” by 2.7”. The sides are natural and show well-healed keys and nice starbrary glyphs! When held to the light, the crystal simply glows deep amethyst, coloring it through and through. But rotate the crystal and you see the smoky-citrine flame within as well as some lovely rainbows. Because of the intensity of the amethyst coloring, the citrine looks a bit smoky, but it’s really pronounced. Ametrine is a combination of amethyst and citrine; citrine is the result of the earth’s natural heating that turns amethyst into the golden color you recognize as citrine. Bolivian amethyst is premier and this ametrine is a treat! This special crystal is in excellent condition.
