This is a thin, 1.5 oz pastel smoky elestial tabby quartz from Brazil that looks dark until you backlight the crystal and see the total wonder of it all! It is 2.85” by 1.7” by 0.45” and a DT with rich amethyst in the upper terminations. And as you hold it to the light, and check with a loupe and you’ll see hematite spheroids and crystals against the slightly smoky and very palest pink background! The back side has a thin coating of pinkish-russet hematite. The pictures look darker than when totally backlit. The crystal is earthy, mysterious, ancient smoke and fire, all in one absolutely astounding quartz in a fascinating tabby shape that is reminiscent of the fabulous mesas of the American southwest. There are some very tiny dings, but nothing that affects the total beauty!
