This is a slightly-fenstered petite quartz from Madagascar, 1.2 oz and 2.05” by 1.05” by 1.0.8”. “Fenster” is “window” in German and thus, the name given to the wonderful chambers of certain quartz. If you explore this one with a loupe, you will see many chambers, a “Ved” and healed base and a bit of misting at the base. At the termination, on the dominant terminal face, there is an “entrance” to the fenstered areas … and an immobile water enhydro! Just above this area, there is a russet marking and the entire crystal is crystal-clear! This crystal is from a lot of almost opaque crystals with oil enhydros … this crystal has none … only the water one and no fluorescence so in every respect, this crystal is an anomaly! You will be immediately charmed!
