This was a treasure from the 2009 Tucson show and at the time, a new find in China.The mine has played out and these green Lemurians are now very rare. This is a 4.3 oz, 4” by 2.5” by 1.5” green Lemurian quartz cluster. There are two large wands and a short one with a Dow termination,. The Dow termination holds faces alternating with seven and three sides. The unusual green color is from included actinolite, an amphibole mineral. True to the amphibole nature, there are s a number of velvety-looking circular areas of actinolite … they sort of remind me of crystalline crop circles. More of the velvety material covers the entire base of the cluster and are punctuated by tiny quartz crystals and a bit of golden healer. Lemurian lines cover the sides and there are a few small keys. It’s an unusual-looking cluster and save for a ding on one side, it’s quite excellent.
