This is a lovely 6.5 oz RK ruby from India, 2.25” by 2” by 0.8”. With a loupe, you will see tiny insets of golden mica and a number of garnet keys. Unlike most of this lot, there is no garnet on the sides, The top of the crystal is thinly layered with more ruby and the bottom shows a nice array of record keepers and unusual glyphs. The color leans a bit toward purply-red and is variable and I love the substantial feel and amazing color of this extra-large beauty!
