This is a petite and incredibly beautiful 1.7 oz, 2.1" by 1.8” by 1.2" piece of simply gorgeous Malawi blue chalcedony that hosts a small, glittery center of druse in a sweet crystal cave. The blue comes from titanium in the quartz and oh my, is it rich, yet delicately pastel! The chalcedony almost has a violet tone with just a touch of golden healer here and there, adding a wonderful color contrast! Now, typically the chalcedony is in layers and you’ll definitely see it with this one along the edges, although the layers are subtle. The sides show little “droplets” of teeny moonglow calcite crystals … you will simply have to explore with a loupe to take in the beauty that it presents on a micro level!
