This is a new arrival and a very unusual crystal from Bahia, Brazil. These quartz were polished as there was a “skin” on the outside that was obscuring the “show” inside. This is a tall and slender tower, 4.5 oz and 3.8” by 1.2” by 0.9” with a blush of amethyst at termination and base and two, strong brownish-ish phantoms traveling up among the little rainbows inside. Now, take a UV light and shine on it and voila … the phantoms glow orange! The phantoms are from powellite which is rare in this location.
