These stunning and amazing quartz have always been the talk of Tucson since they were introduced about a decade ago. They come from a find high in the Kullu Pass in Northern India, gateway to the Himalayans and home to many temples. As the glacial coverings receded in those areas, these wondrous quartz were revealed to the world! The rose color comes from hematite and not from titanium as true rose quartz does. Beyond the color, which is a light and sweet, delicate soft pink, as gorgeous as a sunrise sky these crystals are strangely configured and exceedingly intricate – no real faces, but yet thousands of them – and elestial! This crystal actually has a single face with trigonic record keepers and a flat, healed base. Two sides are clear and Lemurian lined. Weighing 1.7 oz and measuring 1.6” by 1.2” by 0.8”, this special crystal is very excellent!
