This is a gleaming 5.1 oz, 3.35” by 2.1” by 1.45” very light smoky quartz cluster from the Grimsel Pass in Switzerland, a very rare location. There are areas of dark green chlorite all sitting atop a druse-covered quartzite base. With a loupe, you will see tiny, dark smoky quartz crystals and inside the clarity of the top crystals, ultra-thin needles of rutile! The crystals are varied in expression, some utterly clear and the cluster is in awesome condition!
