Interestingly, snow quartz comes from Brazil where it never snows … it’s rather a quartz with white, calcite inclusions that make the crystal look as if it had snowed inside. This one is 1.9 oz and 2.7” by 1.6” by 1.9” and a very odd, almost twisted shape. The crystal appears to be “halved” with smoky quartz on one side and clear on the other. And the calcite grew into the chasm created … kind of like a crystalline hot-dog bun. Golden healer has stained areas of the calcite and the smoky half of the crystal has calcite on the outside in totally bazaar shapes that remind me of King Arthur times. This crystal is fascinating and awaiting your imagination to decode it!
