This is a lovely DT firefly quartz from Madagascar, 1.8 oz and 2.2” by 1.55” by 0.5”. When you look closely at it, you realize that within the golden attributes, it is pale amethyst! The name “firefly” comes from minute inclusions of oil that flash yellow when under a UV light .. as fireflies do in the summertime nights. This is a wonderful crystal to show the diversity of quartz!
