This is an outstanding small cluster … a Karur amethyst over white quartz, 4.4 oz and 2.7” by 2.7” by 1”. With a loupe, you can see that within the royal purple amethyst, there are needles of rutile inclusions and at the flat base, you will see a russet area of hematite spheroids that like an area that once held quartz crystals!
You will see glyphs on the tiny amethyst faces and through the center of the amethyst, a swath of goldish color seems to flow like a river … the gold color contributed by rutile! This is a lovely cluster to explore with a loupe!
